Cincinnati NCAA Champions

If we’re talking Bearcat basketball, no history would be complete without the tale of the back-to-back championships UC snagged in 1961 and 1962. Between 1958 and 1964, the ‘Cats managed a blazing 37-game streak of wins and an overall win-loss record of 161-16, with those two triumphs at the NCAA Tournament right smack dab in the middle. And with an unbelievable eight All-Americans in their ranks at various points in the course of those five seasons, the sixties were an incredible time to be a Bearcat. Pay homage.
