First brewed by the historic Over-the-Rhine brewing company Hudepohl in 1978, Queen City’s answer to the light beer craze quickly took the local market by storm. The little white cans proved so popular at sporting events that the cry of “Hu-Dey” was co-opted as a Cincy call-to-arms by local football fans. Pay homage.
