Moses Fleetwood Walker

Moses Fleetwood Walker was the first African American professional baseball player, joining the majors in 1884. Walker's courage in the face of bigotry and prejudice is almost unimaginable considering the era in which he played, and our super-soft tee reps his pioneering spirit, along with all the heroes in the long fight for equality in the Majors.
